I.S.
Resource Accounting
The main purpose of I.S. resource accounting (chargeback) is to assist
I.S. management in controlling data centre costs and in ensuring that
data centre resources are being used efficiently. It is also an essential
basis for management decision support and for establishing service
level agreements, as it provides the cost of delivering various levels
of service. I.S. resource accounting can also be used to influence
usage patterns by applying differential charging rates to encourage
users to move workloads away from peak periods and thus extend the
life of expensive hardware resources.
Pacific Systems Management
Pacific Systems Management (PSM) was formed in Australia in 1992 to
design, develop, market and support a resource accounting package.
Our staff has a wide range of experience and we can offer full support
for implementing I.S. resource accounting. PSM's objective is to be
the predominant provider of software, support and services for I.S.
resource accounting, as a major tool for data centre management. PSM
has offices in Sydney and Melbourne, Australia. PSM markets and supports
TheBill world-wide.
